ugh one grid owner told me that running dreamgrid will run on Yengine that mean most Xengine scripts wont work on Yengine scripts Grids. Was told that Xengine will phasing out. That really sux when HG visitors take items out of my grid and take to Yengine Grid won't work on Xengine scripts.

YEngine is still not on the stable version of OpenSim (on 0.9.2, and not activated by default). But it's true there are incompatibilities, but only because old scripts were badly written. The best that can be done is to test scripts with objects on an OpenSim with YEngine activated. Zetaworlds is such a grid (you can go to the sandbox to test things).

if im corect xscript already supports 95% of the lsl engine. yscript is made to fill up the gab between lsl engine and os script engine+ fix a fiew bugs
. or atleast this was the goal of the yscript engine project. so this sud be
false info. most scripts that are writen on the xscript sud work fine in yscript
