Some issues with Hypergridding into Sacrarium have been resolved by making the DNS name of the Source Grid exactly matche the letter case of the grid entry in the users viewer. For example, Something.Outworldz.com versus Something.outworldz.com. The source grid name letter case and the viewer login must match, orr it gets rejected. This appears to be a bug in the opensim software used by some regions in Sacrarium.

The problem is in 0.8.2.1. It does not do the comparison as it should : case-insensitive. I believe the solution can be done in two ways: education and in code. Education: Get users to properly enter their exact letter case DNS name in the viewer, and in code by altering Opensim code for 0.9.2, so it always broadcasts the lower case version to both the viewer and to the server during the various checks. This patch for Opensim can be rolled out for DreamGrid to several thousand users in an update.

We are opening our Virtual-HG region on Thursday July 9th.
