Let's simply remember that 8th of March is International Women's Rights Day, and not just International Women's Day.

This event must focus on feminism actions to reduce the gap between women and men, and not put forward marketing actions based on the traditional sexist and degrading image of women.

So please guys, we are happy you consider the actual women position and want to share the awareness going with it, but don't fail by being "kind" for women, it's not Valentine's Day ;-)

In each culture we have different imagination of this great day and women role in social life. Here in Russia we celebrate day of our dear women and remember that be a woman is a privilege. Im not sure how it works in EU but here woman feels like special person. All men should respect, help, care and defend all women. For example, you cant go in door before woman but should open and keep door till she comes in. Or, if you see a woman holds heavy pockets from shopping you should offer your hand. You can never insult or hit women because you are a man. If you do so - then you are scum. We never think when we act so because it is our education from childhood it comes with milk. And men have privileges too. Our privileges is always support our women. Women is only who have right to crying because they feels life is harder. Russian men never cry. But do not think that Russian women are weak or something. It is not true. They can be cute housewife and mothers but they can be soldiers and workers if it required. We build our life together and always give hands to each other. It is how our society works.
