I swear when I look at see avatars with a big ass body and a small head .. all I can picture is beetlejuice shrunken head and if female I put a big bow on it .. lol omg come on did you ever study anatomy .. lawd have mercy .. at bottom is what I use to figure the head size

I thought of doing a proportions tutorial on my blog, even if there are already so many available. People rarely check human proportions when doing their avatars

Despite you can be completly right, ladies, please consider that reality in virtual worlds has a certain place and is not supposed to be dominant. I should say "too much reality will kill you"! Just a point of view, of course! Beauty concepts and dimensions of human figure are also a cultural value! Let's be gentle with all of them! Diversity is LIFE!

Nice chart, Elle. I have studied anatomy for *?# years, although never in reference to an avatar butt and head. lol. 👍 And now I cannot get it out of my head...

even in real life there are people with a non-standard appearance, a small head, a big ass, legs with a wheel ... a midget or a giant, skinny or fat ... what does the study of anatomy have to do with it ... I think everyone has their own taste .. . everyone has their own ideals and parameters, everyone has their own vision of their appearance ... it's just a game character ... someone is a furry, someone is a robot, and someone has a big ass ... in the game each artist has his own body. ..and we must respect their choice ...
and if you don't like it, just close your eyes and don't look!
